The role of Lizzie is quite difficult, certainly because of the situation the character is in and how raw the emotion is. Kelly managed to captivate this in her audition video. She really is an incredible actress and I hope having this film on her showreel helps her to get more work. I definitely wish her all the luck in the world with her career!" -Deb Bartlett

The way he expressed the words, it was clear he had thought about the character before speaking. He had definitely thought about the state the character was in, and that came across in the audition. I'm very glad to have Marvin in the role. He is David. I definitely see a long career for Marvin as an actor." - Deb Bartlett |
Kelly Dyche as Lizzie
My name is Kelly Dyche and I am 26 years of age. I come from Stoke-on-Trent and I pretty much love to Entertain. It’s my job, it’s my dream, and it’s my life. If I’m not at work hosting and entertaining all the ‘nutty’ bingo players, I’m at home hosting my own live show on BlogTV. I am what my family and friends call a dreamer, but I think without dreams our life would be boring. I hope to turn my dreams into a reality, and one day I will... I love to sing and dance, watch movies, read and write. If I’m not hosting, then I’m doing something relaxing with my time. I am a very creative person who also likes to spend what time I have off with my two dogs, and my family and friends.
Marvin Payne as David My name is Marvin Payne, 25 and I'm from Croydon, London. I have been independently studying acting, on and off, for years and - feeling that I was ready - I started pursue it about seven weeks ago. 'David and Lizzie' is fifth short film in which I have been involved, and I am glad that I was selected as the story and how it is to be produced are both unique and offers welcomed challenges. |
