It was february / march when i began this project!! It is now the end of august! The film is finally finished! Music, sound effects, editing all done!! I am so proud of this film and i've worked so hard on it!!!

A month later....

Yes, it's been a month since I last posted... and we finally have our David! Marvin Payne is playing David, Kelly Dyche is playing Lizzie and all is right with the world!
Next it is production time!
The pace is defnitely going to pick up now that the characters have been cast. The script has changed a lot since the first draft, but each time it definitely improved!
Looking forward to getting more done on this film!

Today is a Wonderful Day!

Today is a wonderful day! I have officially cast the role of Lizzie. Lizzie will be played by actress, model and musician, Kelly Dyche! I have created a cast profile which I will add more to as information becomes available! Still trying to find the perfect David, but as soon as i have found him, you will be the first to know!

Hello my chums! The film is still gaining interest! 36 applications in total on StarNow! Already had to reject an actor for the role of David because he just didnt fit the role. I felt really bad but it just had to be done. He wasn't right and I needed to manage the applications. I want to see more of the girls audition pieces so that I can start pairing the videos up to make the perfect couple! I am still searching for special effects. I want the film to be perfect... my best efforts!

Hello again! I have recieved my first audition piece back. It was for the character of David and it was really good! I definitely like guy#1. When I have them all I will use my editing software to create a type of screen test. Matching up the different videos to make the perfect David and Lizzie. It puts me in such a good mood to see people performing my words. The audition piece for David is an extract from the script but the audition piece for Lizzie is a monologue that is separate to the text but describes what Lizzie is going through. Can't wait to get the Lizzie's back.

In total, there have been 12 applications so far for the film on StarNow.com. 3 for the role of David and 9 for the role of Lizzie. There are definitely some serious contenders. I've been sending out the audition scripts so the actors can record them themselves and email them to me. I can't wait to receive the clips and begin making decisions. I've have also been collecting special effects so I can attempt to edit the clips into a split screen.

Off I go to collect more effects...

Hello. Over night there has been 7 applications for the role of Lizzie on StarNow.com. I've sent out monologues for the actresses to record using their webcams. I am looking for how they interpret the character and how they interpret the script.
I am looking forward to receiving the video clips and seeing how they perform. It feels really good to be getting somewhere with a script that I have written. The interest gives me confidence in my writing. If the project goes well, I am going to see if I can get people interested in a script I wrote at university!
